Ask us to leave the mulch and we will unload it somewhere you can get a barrow to it. Ask us to cart it off instead and that costs you nothing either. The Tree Expert launched in the middle of 2016 and has been cutting trees around Mackay ever since, working out of Bucasia just north of town. Our arborists are certified and insured, and every job we quote includes taking the debris away and cleaning up the mess we made getting it out.

A tree of any size will come down safely given the right procedure and the right gear, and that is what we bring to a tree lopping or tree removal, whatever the access off the street is like. Palm pruning and removal is its own job in the tropics: we go through the crown, take the dead fronds out before they drop on somebody, and take the palm out altogether when it has had its day.

Once the trunk is gone our stump grinding gets the remainder out without chemicals, so you can turf or plant straight over the top of it. Everything we cut runs through the chipper on site. Our tree chipping will turn a whole tree into a heap of mulch that holds the moisture in your beds, keeps the weeds down and feeds what you already have growing, and if the job does not make enough of it we sell wood chip as well.

There is more to us than taking trees down. We write arborist reports, do cabling and bracing where a limb needs holding, and handle tree pest control, hedge trimming, tree transplants, green waste disposal and ongoing tree maintenance. If your council wants a permit before the tree can legally come out, say so when you ring: we will point you at the right form and give you a hand filling it in.

We work across Mackay and out through Sarina, the Whitsundays, Munbura, Paget, Sunnyside, Alligator Creek, Freshwater Point, Rosella, Hay Point, Bakers Creek and Balberra. When a storm has been through we run 24 hour emergency tree removal, so a limb on the roof at two in the morning is still a call worth making.
