Total Tree Services is a locally owned and operated Toowoomba arborist business that has been managing trees across Queensland since 2002. Founded and directed by qualified arborist Jamie Nairn — who holds qualifications in horticulture and arboriculture, more than 20 accreditations, and previously served as Senior Tree Surgeon for Toowoomba City Council — the business teams his hands-on expertise with the scientific background of co-owner Dr Renee Nairn. Everyday tree care is the backbone of the business, from skilled tree lopping and tree pruning that keeps trees safe and well-shaped through to complete tree removal of small, medium and large specimens — with access to cranes up to 350 tonnes for the biggest and most difficult jobs. Once a tree is down, stump grinding and removal takes the stump back to ground level so it can't sprout again or rot into a haven for termites and other pests.

As qualified arborists, the team also provides in-depth arborist services, including inspections of large trees for rot, pests and disease, recommendations and solutions for tree problems of any scale, and ongoing tree management plans for endangered and valuable tree assets. Whether it is a one-off assessment or a long-term care program, the advice is practical, professional and geared towards cost-effective outcomes.

For bigger projects, Total Tree Services carries out tree clearing and site clearing — roadside clearing for safety, eradication of large-scale pest tree infestations, and clearing for road, infrastructure and mining development. The team also offers a specialised tree transplanting service for large, mature trees and Australian natives such as bottle trees, and supplies fresh and seasoned shredded hardwood mulch in 8, 12 and 20 cubic metre loads.
