Jackson and the crew work out of Howrah on Hobart's eastern shore, with over a decade of local experience behind the business. Our arborists are fully qualified and we're fully insured, and every job runs the same way: work out what's holding the tree up, work out where it can safely go, then get it there with as little disruption to your property as the site allows.

Recent work gives a fair idea of the ground we cover. A golf course, a job out on Back Tea Tree Road in the Coal River country, another down at Snug, and a removal at Kingston, alongside the regular run around Howrah and the eastern shore. Hobart and the surrounding districts is the working area.

Our tree removal takes in everything from a backyard tree through to roadside and crane-assisted jobs, at any size, whether it's dead, dangerous or simply in the way. Where there's room to put it, the tree goes over in one piece. Where there isn't, it comes down in sections off the ropes. Stump grinding then clears the remainder below ground level, so you can landscape or replant over the top with nothing left to work around.

If you'd rather keep the tree, that's usually the better outcome and we'll tell you so. Regular tree pruning and maintenance keeps a tree healthy and safe: crown lifting to get branches up off a roofline or a driveway, deadwood removal to take the risk out of an older tree, and formative pruning on younger stock so it grows into a shape you won't be fighting in fifteen years.

The timber doesn't go to waste either. We sell mulch and firewood sourced from local jobs, and land clearing handles a whole block for a new build, a development or fire prevention planning before summer. Our 24/7 response team is there for the urgent ones, so if a limb comes through the carport in a southerly or a tree goes over across the driveway overnight, someone answers. Otherwise ring or email, and we'll come out, look at the tree properly and give you a price before any work starts.
