The tree that comes down in your yard does not have to end up at the tip. We chip and compost what we cut and turn it into mulch that can go straight back onto your garden, which saves you the trips to landfill and the fees at the gate. TPS Tree Services, known to plenty of our customers as Trees Palms and Stumps, has been doing this work since Steve and Vicki Flanagan founded the business in 1997, and we are fully licensed and running out of a depot at Capalaba.

We began by grinding a few stumps and trimming trees in local backyards, and the operation has widened a long way since. The crew now handles tree felling, tree lopping, pruning, shaping and canopy reduction, along with large tree removal on the jobs that need rigging and bush, land and lot clearing where a whole site has to come back to bare ground. Stump grinding and removal gets the stubborn ones out without tearing up the ground around them, and yard clean ups take care of whatever is left over.

Palms are a line of work in their own right here, from one overgrown specimen by the pool to a whole row along a boundary, and we cover palm removal, cleaning and maintenance. When the weather turns, our emergency storm work covers the removal and pruning of anything that has broken, split or come down, and since insurance companies are among our regular clients we know how a storm damage job needs to be documented.

Our arbour technicians are highly trained, the work is done to Worksafe standards, and the site is left tidy. We take on jobs for residential and commercial property owners, acreage owners, real estate agents and property managers, body corporates, insurance companies, schools, colleges, universities and other government institutions. Kevin rang about a stump and had it ground out within two days at a price he thought was fair.
