Tree Arrangements

Founded in 1991, Tree Arrangements is now in its second generation. John Madderom started the business in Far North Queensland with what is today more than 40 years of arboricultural experience behind him, and his daughter Talitha and her partner Alan have since taken it on, bringing a Diploma of Arboriculture and a Diploma of Horticulture to how it is run. We are members of the Queensland Arboricultural Association, the International Society of Arboriculture and the New Zealand Arboricultural Association, and we are fully insured for public liability and work cover.

Thirty years in one region teaches you which trees fail up here and how they do it. Our tree removal covers damage, disease and the trees standing exactly where your plans need to be, while our dangerous tree removal deals with the ones that have already turned into a risk to somebody. Palm removal and tree trimming and pruning keep everything else shaped, healthy and well back from the buildings, and we also prune to the clearances a pool safety certificate calls for when a canopy is what is holding up your inspection.

What separates us from a straight cutting outfit is what we can do for a tree that is unwell. Our tree care services take in health assessments, fertilisation and restoration and fungal and insecticide treatments, with qualified consultants who will diagnose the problem and set out how the tree should be managed from here. We handle coconut de-nutting and palm tree care, stump grinding and removal, and root barrier installation to keep roots away from paths, pipes and slabs.

On the ground side, our land and vegetation clearing takes on overgrown blocks and readies sites, and our property care covers cyclone preparation and clearing hazards away from sheds, fences and driveways so a place stays safe and accessible all year. Everything that comes off goes back out through our mulch supply and delivery, and we can plant native trees back in where something has come out. Our teams work across schools, parks, shopping centres and construction sites as readily as suburban backyards.

Our crews stay ready for emergency tree services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for storm damage and fallen trees that will not wait for an appointment. Based at Stratford, we work throughout Cairns and the surrounding areas, on the job from six in the morning until half past five Monday to Friday.
