About This Business
Taking the tree out is not always the only answer, and we will say so when it is not. Tree Cutting Mackay works across Mackay and the suburbs around it, on houses, rental properties, acreage blocks and commercial sites, and what you get from us is a straight recommendation and a price, with no exaggerated emergency talk and nothing tacked on that you did not need.
Before anything comes down we look at the size, shape, condition and lean of the tree, what it is standing beside, whether that is the house, a shed, a fence, the pool or the driveway, where the powerlines and the underground services run, and how we are getting gear in and waste out. Then the tree removal gets planned to suit: sectional cutting, climbing work, staged lowering, or a full dismantle on the big ones and the confined access jobs.
Where the tree is worth keeping, our tree lopping and pruning takes in canopy reduction, clearing branches back off a roof or a boundary, and shaping. Once a trunk is out, stump grinding and removal deals with what is left, including the tight backyards where a full size machine will never get past the side gate.
Palms are not simply short trees. Their trunks, crowns, fronds and root systems all behave differently, so palm tree removal and palm maintenance get handled on their own terms. We clean crowns out, take off dead fronds and seed pods, remove coconuts where they need to come down, and grind palm stumps. On a bigger cocos or golden palm we bring it down in sections so it stays under control the whole way.
After a blow we take on storm damage work: fallen branches, leaning trees, cracked trunks, damaged root systems and trees sitting in ground that has gone to soup, along with the clean-up and the green waste removal that follows. How quickly we can be there depends on the timing, where you are and how bad it is, and we will tell you which of those is the holdup.
We cover central Mackay, the northern beaches through Bucasia, Shoal Point, Blacks Beach, Eimeo and Rural View, and out to Walkerston, Marian, Mirani, Alligator Creek and Sarina, plus Andergrove, Beaconsfield, Glenella, Mount Pleasant, Slade Point, Ooralea and Paget. We start at 6am Monday to Friday and work Saturday mornings. If your area is not on that list, send through where you are and a few details about the job, and for the outer runs give us some notice so we can slot you in.
