Tree Essence is a South East Queensland arboricultural business based in Nerang on the Gold Coast, built on the belief that excellence is part of their DNA. Founded by Jamie, a Level 5 AQF-qualified arborist with nearly two decades of hands-on experience and a history of competing in national tree climbing competitions, the company grew from subcontract climbing work into a full-service tree care provider. The team provides Tree Removal for situations where a tree has become hazardous or unsuitable for a property, carrying out the work safely and efficiently while respecting the value trees bring to the local ecosystem. Their Tree Pruning follows Australian Standard AS 4373, using selective, precise cuts, crown thinning, crown lifting, crown reduction, deadwood removal and formative pruning to improve the health, structure and appearance of each tree. Rather than the harmful practice of Tree Lopping, which strips the canopy and leaves wounds that lead to decay and weak regrowth, Tree Essence recommends and delivers correct pruning techniques that protect a tree's long-term health.

Through Soil Injection, they improve soil quality and plant health by delivering nutrients, organic matter and amendments directly into the root zone, with specialised treatments for problems such as cane beetle and weevil in Canary Island Date Palms and plant hopper in Pandanus. Their Palm Services cover pruning of dead fronds, health inspections for disease and pests, planting, relocation and landscaping, always using non-invasive climbing techniques instead of spikes that can wound the trunk. Once a tree is gone, Stump Grinding removes stubborn stumps with modern machinery, grinding below the surface, clearing debris and preventing trip hazards and pest problems so the space is ready for replanting or new landscaping.

For trees worth preserving, Cable & Bracing provides structural support between stems, helping co-dominant trunks share the canopy weight and reducing the risk of failure at weak unions. Their Habitat Creation service carves artificial hollows into trees using specialised chainsaws and carving tools, offering species-specific designs that support local wildlife where natural hollows have been lost to development.
