Tree Nimai

Twenty years of working with trees came first, and the business came second. Nimai started Tree Nimai in 2023 after more than two decades on the tools, and it is family owned and operated out of the Atherton Tablelands. We are a certified and insured arborist business, Nimai holds his Certificate III in Arboriculture, and every cut we make follows Australian pruning standards.

Bringing a tree down in size is where that training shows. A height reduction has to be done correctly or the tree can be damaged past recovery, so we will go through the options with you before anything comes off it. We thin selected branches out to get light down into the inner crown, our formative pruning and dead wooding clears the dead, diseased and broken limbs along with the stubs left behind by earlier tree surgery, and crown lifting raises the lower canopy up off your lawn, your house and whatever else it has started crowding.

When a tree has to go, we have the equipment to take it out safely and efficiently, including in the difficult positions where there is no clean way to drop anything. Our tree removal covers residential and commercial work, jobs large and small, and we will consult with you on the best way to approach it rather than arriving with our minds already made up.

Our large wood chipper turns a tree into mulch in short order, and we chip every branch on site so your place is left clean and tidy when we leave. The mulch can go with us or stay where it is for your garden, where it will feed your plants, hold the moisture in and keep the weeds down. We run mulch deliveries around the district as well, so ring us if you would like a load dropped off.

When a storm comes through, our 24 hour emergency call-out is there for the dangerous ones and you can ring us at any hour of the day or night.
