Removals are done sectionally where a tree sits close to a house or a fence. It comes down piece by piece, with the decks, gardens and boundaries protected the whole way through, and it makes no difference to us whether the tree is dead, damaged, or perfectly healthy and simply in the wrong spot. What comes off the tree leaves with us, and the site gets raked out before we pack up the truck.

Where a tree can be kept, pruning is the better answer. We will thin a crown, lift a canopy or take out the deadwood to bring the light back and cut down the chance of a limb letting go. Crown reduction and deadwooding get planned around your property, so the access, the gardens and the neighbours are all worked out before anybody starts climbing.

Stump grinding follows a removal so the ground can be levelled, turfed, paved or replanted, with nothing left to trip over or send up new shoots. On a bigger job, land clearing opens an overgrown block back up for building work, fire safety or access, and our mulching and wood chipping turns the green waste into something useful instead of a run to the tip. Where a job needs paperwork behind it we prepare arborist reports, which is often exactly what the council will ask to see before a permit is issued.

Storm damage and dangerous trees get a 24/7 response, because a tree across the driveway at midnight or a split limb hanging over a bedroom will not keep until Monday. Our standard hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm.
