Firewood and mulch are what comes out the far end of a day's tree work, and we keep both available at Tree Wise Arborists. The rest of what we do is the work that produces them. Our three specialties are tree removal, tree pruning and arborist reports, run out of a base at Medindie, just north of the Adelaide CBD, and we serve Adelaide and the surrounding areas from there.

When a tree has to come out, we take it out, and once the trunk is off the ground our stump grinding deals with what is left so nobody is mowing around it for the next decade. Tree pruning and tree trimming look after the trees you are keeping, whether that is weight off a limb sitting over a roofline, clearance back from a driveway, or a canopy that has closed in on itself and needs opening up. A boundary planting stays at the line and the height you actually want it through regular hedging, which is a lot easier to hold if it is done on a cycle rather than once it has doubled in size.

Date palm shaping is on the list as well, and land clearing is there for the blocks that need everything taken off before building, fencing or landscaping can begin. Whatever comes down gets dealt with while we are there: mulching puts the smaller material through the chipper, and green waste removal carts away anything you do not want kept. If you do want it kept, the mulch goes straight onto your garden beds and the firewood stays on site with you.

An arborist report is what you need in writing the moment a council, an insurer or a neighbour becomes part of the conversation, and it is one of the three services we put at the front of the business. Emergency tree services are there for the times something has come down or shifted and it cannot sit there until the weekend.
