Our audit work shows how we think. A preliminary tree assessment is usually prepared before a proposal has reached final approval, evaluating each tree's health, structural integrity and retention value along with the hazards worth knowing about while the design can still move around them. When council asks for an arboricultural impact assessment, that report evaluates the effects of the development on the trees and vegetation involved. Where trees are being retained, our tree protection management plans set out the strategies that safeguard them through the works, and as project arborist we manage the construction site to make sure it conforms to the plan.

Alongside all of that we write tree health and condition reports that get underneath a tree in decline, whether the trouble is disease, a pathogen or the soil and environmental conditions it is sitting in, with the interventions spelled out. We prepare tree valuations that put a monetary figure on a tree by species, size, health and location for land management and development decisions, and pre-purchase recommendations so the species going into your ground suits the local climate and soil.
