There are three ways to finish a tree removal and it is worth knowing which one you are paying for: cut to approximately ground level, cut to ground level with the stump poisoned so it does not shoot again, or cut to a specified height and left, with stump grinding available after any of them. How a tree comes out depends on its type, its condition and where it is standing, and our climbers know the idiosyncrasies of different species well enough to pick the safest sequence for each. The risk assessment and the safety mitigation are worked out before the first cut, not partway through.
