About This Business
There are three ways to finish a tree removal and it is worth knowing which one you are paying for: cut to approximately ground level, cut to ground level with the stump poisoned so it does not shoot again, or cut to a specified height and left, with stump grinding available after any of them. TreeLine is an owner operator business led by Sam Southall, a qualified climbing arborist with 19 years in the industry, and he is the one who picks up the phone.
How a tree comes out depends on its type, its condition and where it is standing, and our climbers know the idiosyncrasies of different species well enough to pick the safest sequence for each. The risk assessment and the safety mitigation are worked out before the first cut, not partway through. A removal earns its keep when a tree is dead, dying or irreparably hazardous, when it is obstructing or crowding and harming the trees around it and pruning cannot correct the situation, when a more suitable specimen is going in its place, or when a build needs the ground. An unstable diseased tree is worth dealing with early, because taking it out stops the disease moving into everything else.
Where a tree stays, tree pruning and tree lopping are different answers to different problems and we will give you a straight comparison of the two before you choose. Blocked views, a house short on light and a neighbour's canopy coming over the boundary are all reasons people ring us. Palm cleaning, maintenance and removal go to the climbers or up on an elevated work platform depending on the palm and the access to it, and our hedge trimming is where we are fussiest, because symmetry and a razor sharp line are either there or they are not. Behind all of it is a modern fleet with access to bucket lifts and cranes.
We work for real estate agents, body corporates and strata managers across Perth as well, where the job includes giving tenants proper notice and keeping both the agency and the occupant in the loop from the first call to the final cleanup. We carry public and product liability along with workers compensation, and letters of currency go out on request if your manager wants them on file. Our crews run to a written safety plan and a quality management system, hazards get identified at the planning stage and controlled by elimination first, and any site with a risk to the public is set up so that is handled before anything else. We work right across Perth, though it is in Mt Lawley and Karrinyup that the truck gets recognised, on large removals and pruning in particular.
The quote is free and an arborist comes out to do it, which means you get an assessment of the tree instead of a number guessed over the phone, and while they are there they are already working out how the site would be made safe. Ring Sam on 1300 562 723, or send the enquiry form through with a photo, and we will come and look at what you have got.
