Ask us onto a rail corridor and every crew member on site carries a RISI Rail Safety Worker card and a construction induction White Card. TreeLink has worked for Sydney Metro Rail, Sydney Airport, Water NSW, National Parks and Wildlife and Roads and Maritime Services, so the accreditation, insurance and induction paperwork those jobs demand is in place before we quote, not scrambled for afterwards.

Russell Cleaver and Angus McGregor started the business in 2008. We now run a fleet of fifteen trucks with specialised plant and equipment, two operational offices and a team of more than twenty. Russell holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from Sydney University and a Diploma of Arboriculture at AQF Level 5, Angus holds AQF Level 3, and both are Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. Our crews hold Senior First Aid, traffic control blue and yellow cards, aerial rescue, powerline approach, chemical preparation and application, and elevated work platform tickets, and we hold ISO accreditation and sit as a pre-qualified supplier on Local Buy arrangements.

We run 24/7 emergency phone assistance and 24/7 emergency site assessments by TRAQ qualified arborists at AQF Levels 3 and 5, followed by make safe and hazard mitigation work to bring down the risk from fallen and damaged trees. For larger events we can mobilise a network of rapid response tree crews across NSW, the ACT, Victoria and Queensland. On work that is not urgent, on-site inspections are free and we aim to have someone there within 48 hours.

The hands-on side spans tree removal, including complex removals in tight access, tree pruning, stump grinding, and vegetation management along corridors and around assets, together with asset and infrastructure maintenance for the people who own that infrastructure. Our consulting arborists write arborist reports where a council, a court or a project needs one, and all work practices follow current WHS regulations and the WorkCover NSW Code of Practice for the Amenity Tree Industry.

We also work the regeneration side: tree planting, bush regeneration, habitat creation, ecology and wildlife work, and tree preservation and protection where trees have to be kept through a build. Bushfire mitigation works sit in the same part of the business.

Our depots are at Mascot, Bowral in the Southern Highlands, Ocean Shores in the Northern Rivers, and Miami on the Gold Coast, covering Sydney Metro, the Central Coast, Northern NSW and Brisbane South. We work for homeowners and commercial property, government, rail, civil and infrastructure, construction, schools and universities, aged care and medical facilities, property portfolio and asset managers and utility owners.
