Treespan Tree Services

Treespan Tree Services is a small owner-operator business run by Toby, working out of Melbourne's eastern suburbs and out into the Yarra Ranges. Toby is a fully qualified and insured arborist who works to the Australian Standard for amenity trees, and the emphasis is on looking after trees properly rather than reaching for the chainsaw first.

When a tree does have to go, tree removal and tree felling are handled with rigging and controlled dropping so nothing gets damaged on the way down. Tree pruning covers the full range of arborist cuts, including crown cleaning, thinning, crown raising and crown reduction, along with vista and restoration work on trees that have been left too long.

There is a strong health and retention side to the business. Tree risk assessment gives an owner a straight read on whether a tree is safe to keep, tree cable and bracing supports weak or splitting limbs, and tree pest and disease management deals with the likes of elm leaf beetle, aphids, lerp and oak leaf miner. Soil management and tree planting round out the care side.

Hedging keeps formal hedges and screens in shape. Being a hands-on owner-operator, Toby quotes and carries out the work himself, with the sort of attention to leaving a property tidy and undamaged that comes with putting your own name to every job.
