About This Business
Room is kept in the schedule for same day storm and hazard response across Albany and the Rainbow Coast. If a tree has come down or a limb is sitting over the house, Trim Ya Trees gets on site as fast as conditions allow, with a fully insured crew and paperwork ready to go straight to an insurance claim.
This is a family run crew and Gary is the one who answers the phone. The work is as much rural as residential: farmers, lifestyle block owners, councils and contractors, alongside houses in town. Certified climbing gear and well maintained elevated work platforms mean the awkward ones still get done, including the trees with no truck access anywhere near them.
Tree removal is planned cut by cut. Where a tree cannot simply be felled, it is rigged and lowered in sections so the house, the shed and the fence underneath stay untouched. Tree pruning takes out the deadwood, rebalances a canopy and opens it up for airflow, and hazard reduction cuts back the limbs hanging over buildings or blocking access.
If you want the ground back afterwards, that is stump removal and grinding. Bamboo and yucca are their own kind of nuisance and we pull both out, while a big hedge can be trimmed and pruned back to a size you can keep on top of yourself. There is also drop and chop for a risky tree you want on the ground without the full tidy up: the logs come off cut to firewood length and stacked to dry, and the branches are ring piled ready for burning or mulching.
Vegetation management and fuel load reduction is annual work for a lot of our clients, and it is the job to book ahead of the fire season instead of in the middle of it. Firebreaks, overgrown paddock edges, driveways closing in and blocks that have not been touched for a few years all come under it.
The area runs to roughly 40 kilometres around Albany: Lower King, Emu Point, Middleton Beach, Little Grove, Robinson, Torbay, Bornholm, Youngs Siding, King River and Queen Range, north to Mount Barker, south past Torndirrup to Goode Beach, and along the coast to Denmark and Walpole. We are on the tools 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Ring Gary, or send the form through with a couple of photos of the tree, and you will get a price and a date.
