A 2023 Rayco RG 55 stump cutter, a 2017 Bandit 1890 wood chipper and a 2023 Niftylift 170 travel out with us, and we bring cranes in when a tree is too big or too awkward for anything else to handle. Gear like that is what gets a tree off a tight block without the fence going with it. Tropical Tree Services is licensed and fully insured, and everyone on the crew goes through regular training.

We would sooner keep a tree than lose it wherever that is an option. When a tree has died, gone unstable, or simply grown somewhere it cannot stay, tree removal and tree felling is the job, and we bring it down in sections where there is no clear drop for it. Tree lopping and pruning look after the ones that are staying, taking a canopy back off a roof and getting the deadwood out of it before the build-up storms find it for you. Regular tree maintenance and trimming is the cheap end of all this, and it is generally what stops a tree becoming an emergency later on.

Stump removal is where the Rayco earns its keep, grinding the stump out below grade so you can turf, pave or build straight over the top of it. We clean up properly behind ourselves, so what is left when we drive off is a yard you can walk back into.
