More than 100 years of tree work sits behind our crew, and every arborist in it is qualified up to Certificate 5 in Arboriculture. True Blue Tree and Stump Removal is a family owned business working out of Buderim, and we have been the locals people count on for more than a decade now across the wider Sunshine Coast, the Hinterland and North Brisbane. We are fully insured, we employ local people, and we still climb by hand using approved, safe practices.

The work covers tree removal and clearing, tree lopping, tree trimming and tree shaping and pruning, along with the finer arboriculture that keeps a good tree standing: crown lifting, crown reduction and deadwood removal. Dangerous tree removal is its own discipline, and it is where the qualifications earn their keep, because a leaning, split or storm damaged tree beside a house has to come down in a planned sequence with the right rigging on it.

Palms get their own treatment here. Whether it is a stand of Golden Canes that has got away from you or a row of Canary Island Date Palms wanting their fronds taken back, our palm maintenance runs through frond removal, crown lift and reduction, shaping, detailing and a full palm assessment. Getting the tree out is only half the job, so our stump grinding and root system removal uses specialised equipment to take the roots with it and stop anything shooting back. What comes off the job goes through the chipper for mulching, the hardwood becomes True Blue firewood, and we clean gutters as well.

Away from the saws we produce arborist reports and consultancy, hazard assessments on residential trees and protected tree assessments for council and planning purposes, following industry best practice for tree preservation, management and removal. Our hours are Monday to Saturday, 6am to 6pm, and we are available 24/7 for emergencies: storm clean ups, road blockages, a tree down across a driveway, branches left hanging and unsafe.
