About This Business
Having a yard at Croydon South and another at Panton Hill is what lets us cover the spread we do. From those two we work right across Melbourne, taking in Ringwood, Heathmont, Blackburn, Mooroolbark and Montrose through the east, Warrandyte, Eltham and Diamond Creek to the north, out as far as Healesville, and down onto the Mornington Peninsula. True Blue Trees has been at it for over 15 years, our arborists are certified and fully insured, and we carry $20 million in public liability cover.
Before anything comes down, one of our arborists reads the tree: species, size, health, structural integrity and exactly where it's standing, along with the obstacles around it and the hazards, power lines and buildings among them. Where there's room to drop it, we fell from the base with notch cuts and wedges. Where there isn't, a climber goes up on ropes and a safety harness and takes it apart in sections, lower branches first to shed weight and open working space, with every piece brought down under controlled lowering on rigging so nothing lands on your house. On the jobs that call for it, a crane does the lifting. Larger trees can need a permit under your local council's regulations, and we'll tell you if yours is one of them.
Removal isn't the only reason people ring. Tree pruning keeps a canopy clear of roofs, gutters and powerlines, and takes weight out of heavy limbs before they get heavy enough to fail. Once a tree has gone, stump removal follows when you want to plant, pave or lay lawn over the spot. Debris is chipped into mulch or hauled away, and our mulching service means what came off your tree can go straight back onto your garden beds.
When a decision has to stand up on paper, we write arborist reports and carry out risk management assessments for owners, builders and councils. We partner with local councils on the ongoing care and maintenance of trees in public spaces, and we take on road clearing and land clearing where vegetation has to come off a site before development or landscaping can start. Specialised tree climbing runs through the lot of it, on residential, commercial and council work alike, because we're equipped with the safety and access gear to climb trees of any size.
Our emergency response line is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so if a tree has gone through a fence or a limb is sitting across your roof, we can get a crew moving on it. Whatever the job, your site is left clean and tidy when we pack up: no branches, no stumps, no mess left behind. Quotes are free, so ring or email with the address and a photo of the tree and we'll price it for you.
