About This Business

The grapple saw truck we run has a 27 metre vertical reach, lifts two tonnes on the saw head and is worked by remote control from the ground. It is one machine in a fleet WA TreeWorks owns and operates outright, and owning the gear rather than hiring it is a large part of why our pricing holds up. We have been going since 2000, out of Martin in the Perth Hills, across the metropolitan area and regional Western Australia for government, mining, utility, agricultural, commercial and private clients.

Tree removal here runs from one tree in a backyard to clearing a whole commercial block, and on the jobs where working at height is the real hazard the grapple saw takes the climber and the chainsaw out of the picture altogether. Tree pruning and stump grinding go alongside it, usually to protect something else on the property: a fence, a shed, a boundary wall, the service line running over the driveway.

If a pruning notice from Western Power has turned up in your letterbox, we are a Western Power certified power line clearing company, able to work under any configuration of line and prune to the Australian Standards. Our certified arborists and qualified power line pruners will take out the offending branches, a small tree or a whole block of them, and cut the chance of an outage on your street.

Firebreak services are a legal obligation above a certain land size and the shires inspect them for compliance. The usual standard is a three metre bare earth path around the boundary, widening to six where the land adjoins a heavily populated area, and every council words its requirement a bit differently, so we read the local regulation before we quote. We put breaks in with skid steers and tractors running disc ploughs, rake buckets or mulchers, and for utility clients we will cap one with limestone or Ferrocrete so it stays trafficable and the weeds stay down. Grounds maintenance covers the mowing, whipper snipping and weed spraying around reservoirs, waterways, drainage systems, fence lines and under powerlines, up to remote controlled slope mowing on ground at sixty degrees that nobody should be walking a mower across. Access track clearing, slashing, drainage clearing and bushfire asset protection zones come off the same crew.

We are a WALGA preferred supplier, so a local government can engage us at any value without going to tender, and a Tier 1 Grade A contractor to the Water Corporation, prequalified for high risk work above a million dollars. The regular run takes in the suburbs north of the river from Yanchep through Joondalup, Hillarys and Subiaco, south of the river from South Perth through Mosman Park, Fremantle, Wattle Grove, Armadale, Rockingham and Mandurah, and the Perth Hills around Mundaring, Kalamunda and Martin. If you are further out in regional WA, ask us, because we often are.

Every job starts with a site inspection and an obligation free quote, and we will tell you what we recommend before we tell you what it costs. The office is on 1800 088 733, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and an after hours service is available: leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.
