Our yard has been at Waratah since 1998, and Steven and Salena Brown still own the business they started here. Close to three decades on it is family run, our climbing arborists are qualified and Waratah Professional Tree Care is fully insured. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification as well, so if you want to see the paperwork before we put a rope in one of your trees, just ask.

A tree hard up against a house or hanging over a pool comes down in pieces. Our climbers use advanced rigging to lower each section on ropes, and complex removals are the work we have been doing longest. Where a tree can be saved we would sooner prune it, thin the canopy or take weight off the limbs causing the trouble, and hedge trimming keeps the boundary planting in shape while we are on site.

Once the tree is down we grind the stump out so you can turf or plant straight over it, and land clearing opens a block up for building, landscaping or fire safety. The green waste does not go anywhere useless. It runs through the chipper and comes back out as mulch, which we can deliver to your property and spread across whichever garden beds you nominate. Tree planting is part of what we do as well, so a block we have cleared can be replanted with something better suited to it.

Storms come through the Hunter every year and leave trees split, leaning or dropping limbs across a roof. We take those calls and make the site safe. If you are not certain whether a tree is a genuine problem or simply looks like one, we will come out, assess it on the spot and tell you plainly what we think, including whether council approval is likely to be needed before anything is cut.
