Kieron Fiford started the business more than 20 years ago and still runs it as owner and operator. He cut his teeth on international arborist work, extracting dangerous trees and limbs using cranes and even helicopters, and he is a qualified tree risk assessor. Our two lead climbers have over 30 years in the industry between them, our ground staff are kept current on safety, training and education, and we have deliberately stayed a small team, with more than 60 years of combined experience across it. Heritage tree work is our specialty, which is the surgeon half of the name. A tree on the significant tree register cannot simply be taken out, so the job becomes keeping it alive and safe where it stands: careful pruning that reduces or reshapes a canopy without compromising its natural structure, custom tree support systems, root management through root pruning and root barriers, nutrition and fertilisation, and pest and disease control when something is attacking it. As licensed tree risk assessors we can inspect a tree, tell you plainly how hazardous it is, and give you the options in writing. We also install wildlife habitats in trees that are staying.

Where a tree does have to go, tree removal and tree lopping on large, dangerous and confined trees is what Kieron specialises in, and in a tight backyard that means taking it apart in sections on rigging, then finishing with stump grinding or lifting the stump out of the ground entirely. We take on hedge trimming and garden shaping too, along with mulching and mulch supplies, and we work the metropolitan area including Claremont, Mosman Park, Subiaco, City Beach, Floreat, Scarborough, Mt Lawley and Joondalup.

When a storm has already been through, we answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
