Wolf Trees and Gardens

There are two crews here, and which one turns up depends on your block. A two man team with a ute and a large trailer takes the tight access jobs where nothing bigger will fit down the side of the house. A five man team with a truck and chipper handles the larger work. Wolf Trees and Gardens has been working across the Sutherland Shire since 2011, and Jonnie Goodman, who owns it, has been in the tree industry since 2004.

Jonnie answers the phone himself and gets on site to quote within 24 to 48 hours, and that quote is free. Jobs are generally done within seven to ten days of it. He is a Level 3 Certified Arborist, fully qualified and insured, and he will walk you through how a tree is coming down before anyone starts. People often cannot see how a tree comes down safely without taking a fence or a roof with it, and explaining that is part of the job.

On the trees you are keeping, we do crown lifting, crown thinning, height reductions and selective pruning, which keeps a tree healthy and pulls it back off the roof, the fence and the power lines. Hedge trimming covers topping and side and face reductions, for the screens that were planted for privacy and then kept going.

When a tree has to come out we take it down whole or in sections, including the big gum tree removals on tight suburban blocks. Palms get their own treatment: seed pod and dead frond tidy ups, or full palm tree removal when the tree has had its day. Afterwards, stump grinding takes the stump out below ground level, the clean up is included at no charge, and all the green waste we carry away is recycled.

We work right across the Sutherland Shire, taking in Gymea Bay, Cronulla, Miranda, Caringbah, Engadine, Menai, Sylvania, Jannali, Como and Bangor.
