Getting a crane in to dismantle a large tree in sections is a method we were pioneers of, and it is still the safe and cost effective way to deal with a big hazardous tree standing in a confined space. We are direct about qualifications, because uneducated advice tends to cost a tree owner years down the track. If you want a consultation, engage an AQF Level 5 qualified arborist. If you are having pruning or maintenance done, make sure whoever goes up the tree holds a minimum AQF Level 3 in arboriculture. That standard sits behind every arborist report, survey and piece of advice we produce, and it is why our work is accepted by the Local Authority of New South Wales Housing and by construction, utility, insurance and property management clients as readily as by households.

We have supported the NSW SES, regional councils and approved authorities through some genuinely ugly weather, and we write tree related Emergency Action Plans so that clients have a robust system in place well before severe weather arrives.

There is a good deal more to us than saws. We run elevated work platform hire, and we install fauna boxes for the bats, birds, gliders and possums that depend on tree hollows. As a general guide a suitable hollow takes at least 100 years to form in a eucalypt, which is why an artificial nest box counts for so much once an old tree has come out. That work is done alongside ecologists and government approved companies, with boxes fitted for Thiess on Pacific Highway construction and for Total Earth Care, and we have been installing rope bridges and fauna crossing recording equipment since 2007. We sell mulch and firewood as well.
